Meridian Pharma: Cutting Commissioning Time by 34% on an OSD Cleanroom

The Challenge
Meridian was scaling its oral solid dosage line and needed a WHO-GMP compliant Class 100,000 cleanroom operational before its export order window closed. Legacy contractors had quoted 14 months, which meant losing a $2.4M shipment.
Our Approach
We split the project into three overlapping tracks – civil retrofit, HVAC fabrication, and validation – and pushed prefabricated wall panels and ductwork to shorten site time. Our BIM model exposed 12 clash-conflicts with existing utilities before a single bolt was cut.
The Outcome
Cleanroom was handed over in 9 months with zero deviation observations in the internal audit. Air-change rate exceeded specification by 15% while running 8% lower on fan power, thanks to VFD tuning during commissioning.
